Oasis International African Center of RI Annual Gala November 22ⁿᵈ, 2025

Oasis International - African Center of Rhode Island, a nonprofit social service agency located at 600 Broad Street in Providence that promotes and celebrates the varied African cultures in Rhode Island, will be celebrating its 2025 scholarship and awards celebration on Saturday, November 22ⁿᵈ, 2025. The theme of the Gala is “Celebrating our Victories and Preserving our Heritage.” The nonprofit celebrates 34 years of continuous services to the Southwest community of Providence with a jubilee annual dinner and awards fundraiser to support continuing youth programs and services.

The event will begin at 6 PM with a cocktail reception at The Rhodes on the Pawtuxet at 60 Rhodes Place in Cranston, Rhode Island. It will be followed by a dinner and awards presentation program that begins at 7:30 PM.
Community Service Awards will be presented to members of our community. Oasis International will award college scholarships to high school students who have been leaders among their peers. The 2025 finalists’ youth receiving scholarships will be announced at the Gala night. Renowned artists and dance troupes will perform cultural dancing and live music. DJ Asap will provide music throughout the evening.

Proceeds from the Gala will benefit Oasis International youth programs and scholarships.
